Calvert welcomes people to join us on the journey of faith. We are a small church family where each person makes a difference. We enjoy the opportunity to worship God and have friends along the way. We are a people who love to worship, study and serve together.
Calvert is a place where you are welcome just as you are, and no one feels judged. We have all been invited by God, and appreciate the sense of acceptance into a caring family that offers genuine friendship.
Calvert is a congregation where each person counts. Lay members of the church serve meals, work at the food pantry, help provide worship leadership, lead Sunday School classes, lead hymn sings and more.
Shirley Voller is the Care Coordinator for the church. Her leadership in the congregation and in service to the community was recognized in 2008. She received an award from the community for outstanding service.
Calvert is a center of prayer for the community. We pray for the community in our Sunday worship services. We adopt a business/community service organization each month and pray for them. We begin each food pantry session with prayer and we are deeply committed to sharing the presence of God with all we encounter.
